 Almost Home was founded in 1991 by Jennifer and Scott Soodek. Jennifer Soodek holds a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Masters degree in Community Counseling. Ms. Soodek has gained recognition and a grant from IBM for Almost Home and fulfulled all necessary requirements to receive accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children in some of the locations. She has also worked as a consultant for Work/Family Directions in Boston Mass., and has taught elementary school in both private and public schools. Mr. Soodek is the company's comptroller. The Soodek's live in Connecticut with their three children, three cats, and two dogs! |
